Well, when renting a hire car, I would say yes. Why? Simply because the size of the rental car will raise a couple of questions! What price will you pay and can you save money? And, will you be comfortable? Although you cannot negotiate seat spaces for passengers, the luggage space is negotiable.

It is also best to try and use soft cases so you can arrange them easier in the car rental.
If you simply plan ahead and do some research, you will find the best car hire for your holiday. After all you do not want to arrive to collect your rental car and realise that the kids are going to have to climb through the front to get to their seats because you have booked a 3 door hatchback.
