Brisbane to Moreton Island

Staying in Brisbane offers many interesting opportunities. The walking and cycling tracks are exceptionally good and we availed ourselves of these facilities more than once. Also the cultural and entertainment venues were applenty. We took in a sculpture display at the Arts Centre and the movie “Robin Hood”. Both were very entertaining. There are many aspects of Brisbane to explore and we may do so on another occasion. Boat accommodation in the Brisbane river is very limited with the ferries making almost any near city berths very uncomfortable with their wash. Having visited friends and relatives the time had come to move on and what a day we picked to do so, absolutely magnigicent! Our trip down the river and across to Tangalooma was as good as it gets. After about 3 1/2 hours we anchored and enjoyed the sunset and had our first complete nights sleep in 10 days or so. Stay tuned!
