Yesterday, to celebrate the holiday, we had a leisurely morning – not that that is any different to any other morning, did a few chores around the boat because there is always something to do. Just after lunch packed a backpack with some goodies and into the dinghy, over to the beach to go for a long walk and explore and hopefully find Jenny Lind Creek. Well we got to the beach and some of the other boaties came ashore and the next hour was spent talking and not walking. There are always plenty of interesting people to talk to doing wonderful things. Anyway we did finally get away and walked for about an hour but didn’t find the creek and had to return because the tide was coming back in and there is always the chance you wont be able to get to the dinghy without getting wet, which is OK if it were warmer, but it is still cold here. I have added a couple of pictures today, one of a turtle that was up on a sand bank “not sure if that was intentional or not” This life make you so aware of the world around you and makes you appreciate how good life really is, and you don’t have to be spending a million dollars to enjoy it.
